TOP What's New at the Muncie Mission

Updated News! The men's dorm furniture arrived Friday, May 30. It was quite a day as 2 semi trucks were unloaded and many boxes of furniture were placed throughout the building as they wait to be assembled. Thanks to all who were able to come to help with this process.

Attention all Cincinnatie Reds Baseball Fans: Come join us on Sunday, July 27 at 1:15 as the Cincinnati Reds take on the Colorado Rockies. We have been given 1000 tickets on the 'View Level' at the cost of $14 per ticket. This is a fundraising event for the Muncie Mission and if all 1000 tickets are sold the mission will receive $7000 (50% of the profits) to be applied towards the completion of the new mission building, the day will be known as 'Muncie Community Day' and Ray will throwing out the ceremonial first pitch. What on opportunity to enjoy a great day at the ball park and help complete the new mission building! | |

Needs
Needs
Plywood or sheeting for shelving at the new Mission facility, 24w x 48l minimum size. If this is something that you could help with, please drop off smaller amounts of the sheeting at the new facility or if you have a larger amount please call Ray at 765-288-9122, ext 2, to make arrangements.
 Transportation is needed to bring 2- 45' flag poles from Matthews/Charlotte area, North Carolina to the new Muncie Mission facility in Muncie, Indiana. Contact Ray at 765/288/9122 ext 2 for more info or see contacts for email information.
We continue to need your prayer support as our new facility nears completion.

2008 School Supply Give-A-Way
Date: Saturday,August 2, 2008   
Place: Central High School Cafeteria
Time: 9a.m.-12p.m.

The Muncie Mission is collecting these items specifically for Kindergarden and First grades.
Kindergarten: Glue sticks, Bottles of glue, 24 count crayons, Pencils, Folders with pockets, Plastic school boxes, Scissors (Fiskar round)
First Grade: Glue Sticks, bottles of glue, 4 1/2 in scissors, Jumbo erasers, pencils, folders with pockets, wide markers-8 count, 24 count crayons, plastic school boxes
If you can help with any of these items, please bring them to the Muncie Mission, Administrative Office, by July 25. This will make it possible for us to pack our bags and be ready for the School Supply Give-a Way on August 2.
