SERVICES & PROGRAMS

No one sets out with a goal to be homeless, but the truth is that many of our neighbors are one paycheck or one illness away from losing security. We are first and foremost a shelter providing a variety of programs for food, safe housing and the necessities of life to the homeless men and women of East Central Indiana, and since 1930, the Mission has been diligently meeting those needs.

Men’s Services

The heart of the Mission is our faith-based Men’s program, a refuge for men experiencing the chaos of addictions and/or homelessness. They find temporary shelter as well as the opportunity to experience a year-long, 12-step program that provides counseling, education, and skill development as they rebuild their lives. Women’s Services

Muncie Mission expanded its services to women with the Women’s Transitional Housing, giving women struggling with homelessness a chance to rebuild and refocus their lives through this 6-18 month program.

Family Services

The services we provide to the community include aiding families with food, clothing and household items to those in need.

Community Lunches

We serve a free lunch Monday through Friday at 12:30.

Attic Window Thrift Stores

The Attic Window stores raise funds for Mission operations, provide low-cost clothing and accessories for Mission residents and families in need and offers employment to local residents. All donated items support local people in need. When YOU GIVE….WE GIVE®!

Recycling Program
