Your donations are vital to the continuing work of the Muncie Mission. We are glad to accept any of the items listed below.

Clothing – all sizes: men’s, women’s & children’s
Accessories – e.g. purses, belts, scarves, jewelry
Shoes
Coats/Jackets
Beds frames, all sizes
Mattresses – all sizes (must be stain, tear, and odor free)
Furniture (must be stain, tear, and odor free)
Working and non-working large appliances*
Household items – e.g. housewares, glassware, artwork
Small household appliances
Electronics, computers, DVD players, flat screen TV’s, radios
Mowers
Bikes
Tools
Cars/Trucks/Motorcycles

* Due to environmental considerations and cost to the Mission, refrigerators must be plugged in and operational at the time of pick up.

We are unable to accept the following:

any item that is stained, has an odor, or has mold on it
Chest freezers – non-working
Console TVs or Stereo systems
Dishwashers
Ripped or torn furniture
Glass or wood storm windows
Large mirrors
Soiled or torn mattresses/ box springs
Large or particle board furniture items
Old style or non-working microwaves
Organs or pianos
Round-shouldered refrigerators or freezers
Water softeners
Water beds

Where You Can Drop Off Items

Home Pick-up

Due to rising fuel costs and the need to use all of our resources responsibly, the Muncie Mission schedules home pick-ups for certain areas. For those items that are too heavy or bulky for you to bring to one of our drop off centers, please call (765) 288-9122, ext. 201 to enter your name on the pick-up schedule.
